Our scars help make up who we are. Reminders of a past that cannot change, our scars can help us embrace and prepare for the future, or they can hold us back. In the world of fascia, scars shorten tissue and cause compensating movements, and sometimes bring pain to the surrounding joints. When emotional scarring happens, it too manifests through the body – shoulders roll forward and the chest holds the heart even tighter. Our neck tightens up in response, and we reach our chin forward as if to communicate our defiance of this collapse. But we can embrace. We can prepare. We can heal.
Immerse yourself in the flow of healing old wounds and softening walls as we join physical and energetic modalities to break up fascial scarring and tap into the heartβs energy.
Our journey will begin with sipping a healing cacao elixir followed by a guided meditation to soften the heart center and open the channel to heart healing energies. As we are energetically attuned to the frequency of the heart, our physical bodies will be guided through a fascial rolling practice to soften, open and refresh our heart space. Each participant will receive direct Reiki energy to ignite our natural healing processes, restoring physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. There will be an option to apply therapeutic essential oil blends of your choosing both before and after the session.
